Avital, Squillante, Timmerman  teachers

Three professors of international level will create a new ‘way’ of higher education dedicated to the mandolin: Mauro Squillante from Italy for the ancient repertoire, Alex Timmerman from Netherlands for the nineteenth-century and Avi Avital from Israel for the contemporary repertoire.

The first step of the project, designed in Faenza by Scuola Grande di San Filippo, will be divided into three weekends, from Friday to Sunday, according to the following schedule:
April 20 / 22  - M.Squillante, A.Avital
May 4 / 6  - M.Squillante, A.Timmerman and A.Avital
June 1 / 3  - M.Squillante, A.Timmerman

Each teacher will provide 6 hours individual lesson per day, while 2 hours each weekend will be dedicated to the orchestra, with the participation of all students, for a total of 13 hours of lessons for each student, for a maximum of 18 students.

The course fee is € 600 + VAT, to be paid when booking by bank transfer.

It will be possible to take part in just one weekend, the costs as follows: April 20-22 euro 200 + vat / May 4-6 euro 300 + vat / June 1-3 euro 200 + vat.

There will be favourable conditions for board and lodging during the stay of the students in Faenza.
